Joanne Licardo recently moved to Portland and currently teaches old techniques of the Masters.
“Painting to me, is how I express myself visually. From the palette, a colorful language emerges that can say things that words can not. It is a way of expressing deeper, more meaningful thoughts in a poetic way. Things there are no words for. Portland has embraced me and my art, and it is here, after 30 yrs in LA, and raising a family, that I am finally free to paint. It’s amazing to me what just having the time to paint can do. Painting is my love that will be with me for life. Teaching painting here in Portland is also an amazing experience. I have met so many talented people and learned so much from them.”- Joanne
